Pendant Lights Above Dining Tables: Size & Height Guide

The height — the most important value

The diameter of the lamp should be 1/2 to 2/3 of the table width.

• 200-240 cm table: 3-4 lights
• Over 240 cm: 4-5 lights or long linear pendant light

Calculate the amount of light correctly

• Semi-recessed lights on the ceiling
• Linear profiles with light directed downwards
• Rail spot systems
• Pendant lights with minimum height (15-20 cm)
